This incredibly simple, and easy to follow recipe for Brown Butter Lemon Herb Halibut is the perfect way to prepare our favorite white fish. The gentle flavors of the Halibut are a perfect match for lemony herbs and delicious brown butter.

2 6oz pieces of Halibut
Salt and Pepper
2 Cloves of garlic (Break its paper skin but leave it inside.)
2 T olive oil
4 T Butter cut in small pads
½ Lemon juiced
1 T Flour
1 T Finely Chopped Fresh herbs (Parsley, Basil, Sage, and/or Thyme)

Heat oil in pan to med-high. Season fish with S&P to your liking. Add garlic cloves and Halibut flesh side down. Spoon oil over the fish as it cooks. Once the fish is deep golden brown, flip and cook to 145. Remove pan-roasted garlic from the skin, mash and reserve. Drain oil from the pan used to cook fish. Add butter and scrape the pan and continually stir (the butter will brown and have a nutty aroma in 5-8 mins). Add lemon juice, reserved garlic, mix well. Whisk in Flour and heat until thick. Fold in herbs and serve immediately over your Halibut.
